There is plenty to do at the NoordOogst urban farming project! Walk around and discover the butterfly garden, feed the pigs, meet the entrepreneurs or just enjoy nature....
NOORDERIJPLAS
Just behind the ring road is a hidden piece of nature; the NoorderIJplas. Here you can enjoy a stroll with the lakes full of water birds on one side and the North Sea Canal where large boats sail on the other. You might even run into the Scottish Highlanders.
NDSM-WHARF
The NDSM wharf is a rugged, adventurous and iconic area on the IJ. Here you will not only find the ferry that takes you to the center; there are many restaurants, street art, artists, creative companies. Numerous events are organized on 'the wharf', including the monthly flea market.
AMSTERDAM
The capital of the Netherlands with countless museums, terraces, shops, galleries, markets and events is easily accessible from us by bicycle, car or public transport.
TWISKE-WATERLAND
Enjoy the greenery and the water in the Het Twiske recreation area. Or visit Waterland, with its picturesque villages, small ditches and dikes and ancient polder landscape. Whether you prefer hiking, biking or boating, Twiske-Waterland has countless activity routes worth exploring.
ZAANSE SCHANS
Discover crafts, mills and houses from the 18th and 19th centuries. The Zaanse Schans is a unique village in the Netherlands, full of wooden houses, mills, barns and workshops.
PLAYING OUTSIDE
Have fun or splash about in the nature playground, kick a ball on the field in front of the door or give a 'show' in the open-air 'amphitheatre'. Young and old can play outside on our site.
WETLANDS SAFARI
Canoe with a guide through the 17th century landscape. While sailing you enjoy all the waterfowl and you are encouraged by the small birds, such as reed warbler and reed warbler in the reeds. An active outing!

DE TUIN VAN ETEN

One of our favourites at the NDSM-wharf. A beautiful city beach, often live music on weekends and a surprising menu. If there's no place left, go to Noorderlicht....
